I went along to an INformal INfront drinks gathering at Justin Fox’s place last night. (Aren’t I proper?) These days I kind of sit outside of the web design circle (for obvious work related reasons) but it is fun to go and catch up with old pals.

Justin, for those who don’t know, is a super connected type of person. He seems to know everyone in design circles, and always knows the story behind the story. You’ll always hear something interesting ;)

Amongst those present, were Lee, Brad, Casey, Sean and Sarah, and Kai. Big topic of discussion was the recent Semi Permanent conference, it was interesting to hear how it had gone, and what had happened; (read: the gossip).

Whilst sitting out the front of Justin’s place watching over the dark ocean, I watched with some alarm as a massive cloud bank rolled over the east of Sydney. I timed my departure, and arrival home, with precision, as the city was hit by a torrential downpour seconds after I walked in the door.
