Variations on a theme? There are two other sites in the disassociated franchise that are worth a look. disassociated.org whose designer is named Serp, is a strikingly designed, image intensive affair, reminiscent of a bound volume in look and feel.
I love the somewhat nebulous menu system, which rather than being obvious, offers only clues as to where the links point. I always wanted to design a site such as disassociated.org, one that is more conceptual, rather than tangible, in execution.
disassociated.us is far more of a mystery. This site has a dark, black and red ambience, and other than being a personal site, I really can’t work out its purpose. Interesting selection of avatar galleries though.
