There’s good news and there’s bad news. disassociated’s main style sheet now validates, and I am working through the small list of warnings to gain full compliance to the CSS 2 spec.
The bad news being this has been achieved at the expense of Netscape 6 grooviness, which required non standard work arounds to make certain features work, for instance some of the backgrounds. Netscape 6 does not support too much of the CSS 2 standard at all. In fact Netscape supports very little indeed of the said specification.
The upshot is, for anyone using Netscape 6, to expect a great deal of funkiness here. Ah, who still uses it anyway, apart from me?
