Saturday chill out sessions:
- “Should we, when we read the Tintin books, treat them with the reverence we would afford to Shakespeare, Dickens, Rabelais and so on?” Perhaps not quite, but this Guardian Unlimited article makes a very good argument for the affirmative.
- “The internet may be contributing to a long term decline in the social networks…“ But, but, I’m a MySpace, Hi5, and Orkut, member. How could I possibly be isolated?
- I don’t usually link CVs. Hell I don’t know anyone who does either, but maybe someone ought to link up Lee Stephens’ CV.
- I can hear the waves quietly crashing on the distant moonlit beach of this tropical paradise…
- Ah ha, one of Justin Fox’s hidden blogs; Sex in Art. Why be so coy about something like that then? Er, needless to say, this material is NOT safe for work. So go home right now. Talking of work, well there won’t be much of that around here now. ;)
- The dude’s got guts, I guess. Not only is he a Roman Catholic priest, he’s also… Opus Dei. (que drum roll?) He’s also on a mission to debunk the FICTIONAL claims made in the “The Da Vinci Code”. Hmm, how hard can that be? But surely it would have been more appropriate a female priest take a stance in this case? Oops, I forgot, they don’t pay on the Sacred feminine.
