
I wanted to document a drive up to Manly beach, to Sydney’s north, without taking a run-of-the-mill panorama featuring the pine trees that line the beach.

Not that there is anything wrong with those sorts of panoramas. Some are quite spectacular.

So, as you can see, I went really left-of-field to find shots (from the top down) of a Manly ferry, Manly harbour – where the ferries berth – which should not be confused with Manly beach itself (third from the top).

But in true disassociated style here is a photo of one of the pines that lines the beach. A familiar object viewed at an unfamiliar angle perhaps? ;)
