My sweetheart the flirt and I went for a drive up to Palm beach the other week. A Sunday drive. It was good actually. Just her and me in the car. So, no-one else for her to flirt with. Except me. ;)
Palm beach is Sydney’s northern most beach. It is also where parts of local soapie Home and Away are shot. I think they only film during summer though. Check these photos of Palm beach, at about 3pm, on a fine July (winter) day. Not what you see on TV, is it?
People talk about living here, and commuting to Sydney for work. “It’s only a CDs drive away,” they say. But if you lived at Palm beach, wouldn’t you telecommute? Or set up a home based business? Why would you ever leave such a place? Like, why drive a car when it can only take us away from here?
