Despite the name, Career Ramblings isn’t a blog entirely focussed on career development, and Californian based co-producers John Anthony and Jane May, also offer an array of what they refer to as “life in general” articles.

While there is all sorts of useful information on career related matters ranging from giving your CV or resume a makeover, writing cover letters, help with completing job applications, through to job interview etiquette, you can also find articles on entrepreneurial, investment, and real estate matters.

The variety doesn’t end there though, and if you’re up for it there’s even advice on remodelling your patio, or backing up files on your computer.

In writing for Career Ramblings, John and Jane draw on experiences gained respectively in careers in investment management, and hiring and recruiting.

What I find particularly refreshing about a “niche” blog such as Career Ramblings is the way it behaves like a blog. In other words there isn’t a non-stop flow of tightly focussed articles purely on career related matters, and readers will also find comment on events and activities that are not completely connected to the blog’s core focus.

And while there aren’t a million others doing so, Career Ramblings will give your blog a mention should you take the time to write a review about them.
