  • Fill The Dams is an initiative by Andy Parthenopoulos of Noodle Networks to raise funds for charity groups assisting those bearing the brunt of the current drought in Australia. Both individuals and organisations can contribute, and individuals can also submit their blog URL for inclusion on the Fill The Dams site. How’s that for an incentive to get involved?
  • Westciv, creators of CSS generator Style Master have resumed their free online standards based development courses. Courses start at the most basic level, so this is a great chance for complete novices to begin learning the CSS ropes.
  • Ask the CSS Guy: “After spending a few years learning and implementing CSS, friends started asking me questions on how to accomplish certain layouts using CSS. I thought maybe there was a market for a site like this, so I started it.” Spotted at coolstop.
  • Business Blogger: there’s a million Internet Marketing blogs out there but this one, by Chris Walker, is not only useful but also easy on the eye. “The Internet has changed the business and marketing world so much in just the last few years that I had to learn more.”
  • For many people weekends mean house hunting and inspecting properties of (possible) interest. If you’re in Sydney, and wish to buy an average size house (say three bedrooms), you could be looking at forking out the best part of one million dollars! Those figures make this two bedroom place in Lufkin, Texas, look like a real bargain, at just US$16,500!
