  • David Capra whom I profiled at OnVoiceOver earlier this year writes to tell me he is taking part in Western Front 2007, a biennial event showcasing contemporary artists in key galleries, museums and public spaces, in Western Sydney. David, who is currently travelling around Europe, started working on his exhibition pieces while staying with Franciscan monks in Tuscany!
  • Thanks to Snorkred for her suggestion to “combat” those snap shot screens I was talking about last week. They can be disabled across all websites you visit simply by clicking the options icon (the cog like icon), in the upper right hand corner of the snap screen, and then selecting the disable option.
  • Hidden Lives is a recently launched Australian project were you can, anonymously, reveal your innermost thoughts to the world. “Hidden Lives is a space to reflect on your innermost thoughts, dreams, hopes, fears and imaginings. Pause, let your soul drift, listen and then reveal your hidden life to the world.”
  • Web Directions South is on this year at Sydney’s Darling Harbour, from 25 to 29 September. This is not only an opportunity for web designers and developers to keep up with the latest industry practices, but also get into some power networking. The early bird, or reduced conference fee offer, expires on 30 June.
  • “tecnica invade surreale cielo #01″ THIS is an awesome sunset (or would it be sunrise?) photo I spotted on Flickr the other week.
