Contest time!
There’s a total of US$100 (one hundred) up for grabs and all you have to do is write at least 100 words (more if you want to) about disassociated.com on your blog to be in with a chance to win it!
You can write whatever you want to. Looking for some ideas? You might wish to write a review style post about disassociated.com. You might like to offer some comment on one, or more, of my photos. You might wish to say something about a previous post - after nearly five years there’s plenty to choose from. Whatever, it’s up to you.
The contest is open until Tuesday, 31 July 2007, so you have plenty of time to think about your entry.
You can be humorous, insightful, thoughtful, satirical, whatever, the choice is yours. Do what you do best. You can even be critical if you choose, so long as you are constructive!
The only other thing you have to do is include a link to the main disassociated.com page, and also a link to the $100 for 100 words contest. Linking to this post will also allow me to trackback to your entry so I can see it!
(If your trackback doesn’t show up in the comments area of this post after 24 hours please manually post your entry’s URL as a comment here.)
Here is an example of what is required in your entry:
This is my entry in the $100 for 100 words contest being held at disassociated.com until 31 July 2007.
And that’s 20 words right there if you chose to use that particular wording, which you are most welcome to do.
What am I looking for in an entry? Really just something that is original and well thought out. And with over four weeks until the contest closes that gives you plenty of time to devise something!
When the contest closes on Tuesday, 31 July 2007 I will start looking for a winner, and make an announcement as soon as possible afterwards. If I have trouble choosing a winner, I’ll draw up a short list of blog post entries, and make a call based on the overall character of the blogs on the short list.
So there you are! If you have any other questions please post it as a comment so we can all see it.
“Small Print”
Please read this carefully as any entry you make will constitute your understanding and acceptance of these conditions.
The winning entry will be selected at my sole discretion (this is my website after all) and no correspondence will be entered into.
One payment of US$100 (one hundred) will be made through PayPal to the winner, and you will need, or be prepared to establish, a PayPal account to receive payment. I will pay the applicable transmission fee, but I am not responsible for any processing, or receiving, fees you may be charged.
A link to the main disassociated.com page and the $100 for 100 words contest post must be included for an entry to be eligible, and your blog post will need to contain a minimum of 100 words.
The contest closes on Tuesday, 31 July 2007 so your entry must be in on or before that date to be in the running.
And family and friends/acquaintances of mine… well, you can enter, but I’m afraid I can’t really award you the prize, ok?! ;)
