16.6°C

That is officially the temperature (celsius) in this part of Sydney at the moment.

I suspect, having just been outside, that it is a bit warmer than that. Today’s high is expected to be about 21°C, with sunshine and blue sky.

Not bad for what is the middle of winter, and also considering conditions felt Antarctic here just a week ago.

That “cold snap” was interesting, because while temperatures weren’t that much below average, apparently the humidity was extremely low, which gave conditions a certain “bite”.

Today it’s like none of that happened. It’s t-shirt weather. Again.

People seem to be happy. People are smiling, in a “it’s the first day of spring summer of love” kind of way.

Hmm. Very nice. Until the cool returns, doubtless sometime soon.

Summer of love?!? There’s a few things I forgot to get photos of last week up at the uni… better get along there then. Pronto…
