  • weAREtheIMAGEmakers’ recent 12×12 exhibition was a great success according to Brad! A PDF wrap up (4.1mb) of the show is available for download and features all works that were exhibited, including one or two items that are still for sale.
  • heli paints: art portfolio and blog of Heli, a coffee loving expatriate painter and artist from Finland now living in Istanbul, Turkey (a not half bad place to be IMO!)
  • What Motivated You To Start Blogging? by Nate Whitehill. This is something I have been thinking about lately. Was it so I could experience the feeling of having barely a minute to spare anymore? Being fully occupied sure beats hanging around doing nothing. 97 per cent of time anyway!
  • This is hot news: well for Kurt anyway, who has been selected as the latest featured member at ByBlogLog… see what happens when A List bloggers visit you! ;)
  • Friday slackers cost firms $A119m a year: this article made me snigger… it seems British companies are losing £50 million a year because workers are slacking off excessively on Fridays… seems some are “ending” the week as early as lunchtime on Friday… add those who START the work week at lunchtime on Mondays… and we have the beginning of the four day working week! ;)

  • I am kind of in a daze right now … first two stories on the Digg front page in two days, now the MyBlogLog featured member. I just have to be careful not to let it go to my head (… he types, as he works on another post he is secretly hoping to get to the Digg front page). :)

  • Thanks for the link! And yes, Istanbul is amazing place to live after a quite small city of Oulu, Finland (120 000 citizen) :)

    Cheers!

  • @Kurt – time for a post about getting onto the front page of digg I think! ;)

@heli – you’re welcome! I’ve been to Istanbul and Turkey, and while I couldn’t fault any part of Turkey, I’d have to say Istanbul was a stand out experience… mind you, all of Turkey was a stand out experience! :)
