I may have missed out on seeing the US President when he was in Sydney last week (even though his motorcade passed within a kilometre or two of here…), but as a… consolation it looks the Australian Prime Minister, John Howard, may have paid a visit to disassociated!
Or at least someone in his office certainly did. Regular readers will have little trouble guessing which post he, or one of his off-siders, had a look at…
For those outside of Australia, this is shaping up as a tough week for our leader of 11 years. An election is due in the next few months (some are saying October or November, it couldn’t be much later than that I don’t think…) and Mr Howard’s leadership is on shaky ground, to say the least.
I also notice that IT policy in the Prime Minister’s office isn’t exactly on solid ground either. Why are they still using the buggy and insecure browser Internet Explorer 6? Someone there must know that version 7 is available, or better still, they could be using FireFox.
Check out that screen resolution though, I bet they all have studio display monitors in the PM’s office!

Congratulations! The most I got so far was a douchebag Congressman’s office after I wrote a post about him.
Windows XP? IE6? Maybe his computer is slow, which means it takes forever for news from Iraq to reach him?
Well it’s good to know the politicians are keeping in touch with the people by reading their blogs! Getting them to listen however is another matter…
It’s nice to see the lying rodent begin to squirm.
