The food pornographer: “Food at its porniest”. I didn’t think it was fair to post this one yesterday, being Monday. All the delicious photos of all that delicious food would have only added to the woes of Mondayitis! That’s not to say this site still will not induce a severe case of the munchies! +
Web Design World 2007: is on in Boston from December 10 to 12 this year. See Jeffrey Zeldman, Eric Meyer, and Dan Cederholm among others, speak! +
‘Semantic’ website promises to organise your e-life. How’s this for a promise:
Making sense of an ever-increasing number of emails, web pages, feeds, and social networking contacts is a tough job for even the most organised person. But now a new website can organise your e-life like a personal assistant, say its developers.
Twine which is still in beta (how very web 2.0!) thinks it may be able to tie it all together. I will watch with interest… +

Intel’s new chips: now with 40pc more transistors: so the new Intel microprocessors now come with up to 820 million transistors, an increase on the previous mark of 582 million. But has overall processor speed increased all that much, really?
Intel’s launch Monday includes server chips with frequencies of 2 gigahertz to 3.20 gigahertz for the quad-core models, which have four processing engines. The clock speed for dual-core models, which have two processing engines, goes up to 3.40 gigahertz.
3.40 gigahertz? Under Moore’s Law I’d have thought we’d be up to 20 gigahertz by now?! +

Thanks for the link! Unfortunately I’ve taken it down because the design and content need a bit of a refresh.
Me and my timing! I’ll keep a look out for the new version :)
