I like this logo redesign. At first it doesn’t look all that different. The changes are, apart from dropping the star, fairly subtle.
The devil is in the detail though…
Pastels replace the bright colours. The inverted commas are gone. The font size is slightly larger. It looks more like one word now. It makes you think “toysrus” rather than “toys are us”.






I agree. Much more eye pleasing, and glad to see those inverted commas gone.
The star is still there, though I get what you mean.
I really enjoy seeing rebrand projects.
I like the what they’ve done with the star… they’ve ditched the original idea but then bought it back, if you like, in a very clever way.
