Christmas lights

Christmas flower

I’d hoped to post a few photos of some of the festively decorated houses in the area, but the results were nothing to write home about. This flower however, by virtue of its hues of Christmas season reds and greens, will suffice I’m sure.

The long range weather forecast for Sydney (and aye, disassociated has been in timestamp mode for the last few days now…) for today was overcast with a maximum temperature of 22° celsius.

That seems to be a fairly typical sort of Christmas Day in Sydney, the hot sunny days of legend just don’t seem to occur all that often.

Not that I’m complaining, in fact I’m hoping that’ll be the outlook down the coast, as it would in fact make for great barbeque weather :)

Happy holidays :)

  • I agree that this weather is much more comfortable but it doesn’t feel like summer holidays without a few extremely hot days … in fact I can’t recall any days 35-40+ so far this summer which is quite strange for Sydney

  • Did it even make it to 22 in Sydney today? Hope it was warmer where ever you were.

  • Yes, we’ve been “lucky” so far in terms of missing out on those super hot days. Funny it’s really like September weather where temperatures are in the early to mid 20s but creep up somedays to the high 20s. How many days 30 or over have we even had so far this spring/summer? :)
