As The Head of Multiplatform Production, Dan is responsible for strategizing ABC TV’s movement into Multiplatform Broadcasting; The Distribution of ABC TV services onto emerging digital platforms; Overseeing production of innovative inherently cross media television programs; the acquisitions of new innovation content experiences for ABC TV and online; and for the development of new online Australian communities destinations. Prior to joining the ABC, Dan was the Vice President of Interactive of Toronto-based Decode Entertainment. Dan has been the recipient of over three dozen international awards for innovative interactive content including a British Academy Award Nomination, accolades from Macromedia and Yahoo and was named the Canadian New Media Producer of the Year 2002.
