Rebecca Campbell: Global Nomad
Is it possible to be constantly on the move, while making an around-the-world journey, for 33 straight days?
Sydneysider Rebecca Campbell, who started the trip from London is in the process of finding out, while helping international disability and development charity Motivation, at the same time.
It sounded like a dream assignment for a travelling girl. Travel around the world on as many different forms of transport as possible, raising money for charity and using a battery of Skype-connected mobile technology to send back posts. Perfect. But then there was that innocuous-seeming footnote that was so easy to overlook. You must travel non-stop. The implications weren’t immediately clear. What it meant was that I must live, eat and even sleep on the move, never staying still. 33 days of perpetual motion.
Rebecca is due in Sydney this weekend on the Australian leg of the “perpetual motion” journey. Follow her progress on Flickr, Twitter, or her blog.

Rebecca, I am your Dad’s cousin, good on you. Hope it is very successful Regards Colleen
I hope Rebecca does well also. Covering all that ground, while continually moving, over 33 days, is one hell of a challenge :)
