Batman 1.5

While producers of The Dark Knight have rejected a script written by Michael Bay, who knows, maybe the idea could be adapted for an animated version of Batman, much like Star Wars: The Clone Wars, which is due out shortly.

Some of the action isn’t too bad after all (page 112):

The Batmobile is gunning down the highway at over 200 miles per hour, weaving through traffic. Every time Batman is about to crash into a civilian, the camera enters ultra slow motion and we see him barely squeeze by, frame by frame. This happens seventeen times.

  • You realise there’s already the animated “Gotham Knight” (now out on DVD) that bridges “Batman Begins” and the upcoming “The Dark Knight”? I bought my copy only yesterday. It features the return of Scarecrow, plus introduces Killer Croc and Deadshot.

  • Interesting Ian… I obviously missed that one… did it go straight to DVD release… I don’t remember seeing trailers at the movies or hearing about it.
