David Capra writes to say he and 11 other artists will be exhibiting in the “and it started with a myth” exhibition at Parramatta Artists Studios, in Sydney’s west from 8 to 24 August 2008, which among other things will explore rituals and the supernatural.
and it started with a myth probes universal and timeless stories that reflect and shape our lives. Each artist explores a collage of references from ancient sacred rituals to the western transformation and the displacement of myth by science. In the need to understand our ancestors, our origins and each other, and it started with a myth will reference rituals, traditions and the supernatural.
