Talking of email, I happen to think that checking for new messages while at church, or in a meeting, is pretty cool, perhaps even necessary. As for any other situation… not so smart.
In bed in their pajamas: 67%, From the bathroom: 59% (up from 53% last year), While driving: 50% (up from 37% last year), In a bar or club: 39%, In a business meeting: 38%, During happy hour: 34%, While on a date: 25%, From church: 15% (up from 12% last year)
What about the figures for weddings and uni lectures? Don’t try telling me you wouldn’t check during those times, or occasions, either.

I work from home so don’t really need to check email “on the move”…
Pretty much the case for me also. And I can’t say I’ve ever had the slightest desire to check my email from the bathroom or while driving either. Or just about any other of the situations that are listed.
