I’ve corresponded with Russ Weakley once or twice before by email, and I don’t think I’ve ever heard from him outside of the hours midnight to three o’clock in the morning.

At first I thought there was a glitch with my mail server, but no Russ, who works two design gigs, runs the WSG, and is also very active on the web conference speaker circuit, not to mention a family, only sleeps four hours a night… as he explains to the Webstock crew.

I work as a web designer for the Australian Museum three days each week and run my own business outside these hours. I also try to help with the kids in the mornings and evenings, so this means I often work late into the night. So, I often get around 4 hours sleep a night. A little sad now that I look at it. I think I need a hobby… Does Satan worshipping count as a hobby?
