While dining Chinese the other night along Anzac Parade in Kensington, I was quite surprised to be interrupted by a girl who poked her head inside the restaurant door, beckoning for my attention.
I was about to say something like, “sorry I don’t work here”, before she asked about the t-shirt I was wearing.
“This might sound really weird, but my friend wants to know where that t-shirt you’re wearing is from.” I explained it is a limited edition t-shirt made by local web development company Molt:n, and suggested how she could contact them and (possibly) ask for one.
“So we might have to ask really nicely for one,” she laughed. “See what happens,” I said, as she waved an embarrassed goodbye and closed the door behind her. I turned and shrugged at the now silent restaurant patrons.
Needless to say, the Molt:n tees are eye catching as I’ve already mention before. As designers what can we take from this?
