James Bond chases his most elusive prize so far… an Oscar

Friday, 28 October, 2011

Based completely on rumour, at this point anyway, the story that the next James Bond film, due for release in October 2012, will differ considerably from what we’ve seen so far, all in the interests of making it an Oscar contender:

Rumours are growing that new British director Sam Mendes is planning to ditch a host of stunts and action scenes from his first Bond film. Insiders say the new film, expected to be called Skyfall, will be very different in tone as Mendes instead aims for “characterful performances” that will put his creation in the running for Oscar nominations.

On the subject of James Bond, there is still time to take part in the 007 DB5 magazine and Aston Martin DB5 model give away that is on here this week.
