Posted by John Lampard on Tuesday, 15 July, 2008 to the photos subset

An on-going photo story series titled "Scenes from an Imaginary Road Film". What's happening, and where are we going here? Will we ever find out? It could be the journey is more interesting than the destination. A couple of new photos are added each day. Sixth day: On a carpeted staircase. Dazed and disoriented. July 9, 2008. Winter Solstice 2008

Posted by John Lampard on Monday, 23 June, 2008 to the photos subset

Hump Day 2008, was last Saturday. If this were the northern hemisphere, 21 June would be the official beginning of winter, rather than 1 June, which is the "Antipodean" start to the season. Whenever the beginning of winter may or may not be though, at least the days will now gradually become longer. Summer is on the way :) And on ... Read full entry

The Other Night Sky photographic exhibition

Posted by John Lampard on Tuesday, 3 June, 2008 to the photos subset

I miss landing at Kai Tak, Hong Kong’s old Airport

Posted by John Lampard on Monday, 2 June, 2008 to the photos subset

The first two shots in this photo collection, of what are mainly Jumbo jets landing at Kai Tak, Hong Kong's old Airport, where taken from high rise buildings bordering the airport. 25 Seriously Twisted Trees

Posted by John Lampard on Thursday, 24 April, 2008 to the photos subset

25 Seriously Twisted Trees If the human race vanished overnight, trees would become the new masters of the Earth, as this series of awesome photos at WebUrbanist proves :) Trees and plants have a kind of flexibility that is both disturbing and inspiring. Left to their own devices they can wrap around objects and create strange works of unintentional art. Properly pruned and cultivated they can be made into curious, ... Read full entry
