Bluejuice score the number 101 spot in triple j’s Hottest 100

Sydney band Bluejuice claimed what is becoming the increasingly cherished-as-a-consolation-prize number 101 spot in the 2009 triple j Hottest 100, with their single “(Ain’t) Telling The Truth”.
They also featured in the actual Hottest 100 countdown, with their track “Broken Leg” reaching number five.

Up, and Hurt Locker, top films of 2009

Up takes out the wide release top award, while Hurt Locker wins the gong for a limited release film.

According to Sydney based peace advocates Vision of Humanity’s recently released Global Peace Index, New Zealand is the most peaceful country in the world, on account of its overall “absence of violence”.
The U.S. is 83rd on the roster, according to the Institute for Economics and Peace that rated the relative tranquility of 144 nations according [...]
