Nick Cave and All Tomorrow’s Parties photos

While Cockatoo Island in Sydney harbour conjures up exotic images of swaying palm trees and golden sand beaches, the reality is a little more stark, penal and industrial in-fact, as the island used to host a prison and an industrial school.

While such an ambiance may not be everyone’s cup of tea, given Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds where headlining the Sydney leg of All Tomorrow’s Parties, the setting was therefore especially appropriate.

If the photos are anything to go by Saturday’s show was definitely a crowd pleaser, as this Sydney Morning Herald gallery attests to.

Some awesome collections have also been posted up by Stella Gray, Annie Maree, Stickwriter, and Elektrik98.

Also check out the promotional artwork and poster if you haven’t already seen them.
