It's a disassociated tradition of sorts to lock the doors, dim the lights, twist the volume dial to TEN, and while the day away listening to the best tracks of the previous year, as voted by Triple J listeners. The Most Depressing Day of the Year. Apparently today, Monday 21 January, is the most depressing day of the year, according to Dr. Cliff Arnall, a researcher from Cardiff University.
