Filmed on South Australia’s spectacular Fleurieu Peninsula, The Boys Are Back weaves an at times uneven tale of a man (Clive Owen) adjusting to life as a sole parent after his wife dies, who goes from having one child to care for to two, upon the arrival of his son from an earlier marriage.
