The HMV music store chain in Britain has hatched an interesting tax avoidance music selling plan by setting up an off-shore online store. HMV is extending to its high-street stores a controversial VAT-avoidance scheme that it currently operates solely through the group's website, which is based offshore. Pringles eats consumption tax for breakfast

Good news for a Monday morning, a time when my dependence on comfort food is usually higher than at any other time of the week: Pringles are no longer deemed a "potato crisp" and are therefore not subject to a consumption tax.
