Exploded views, appreciating the parts, and sum of the parts

Just as fascinating as cutaway illustrations, exploded images or models, are a great way to appreciate the workings, or at least the components, of many everyday items.

Holy cow Batman, the Batcave is a complicated complex

Some awesome cutaway diagrams depicting the multi-level layout of Batman’s headquarters, the Batcave.
Brings to mind Superman’s “critique” when he paid a visit there once (Action Comics, #654, June 1990, pg 21):
“Nice place you have here. A little exotic for my tastes, but still very impressive, It suits you.”
