The Jack Johnson concert, held in Sydney's Centennial Park last Saturday, was judging by the cheering we could hear almost two kilometres away in Randwick, an unqualified success. At least so far as Jack Johnson and his fans were concerned. Despite being within earshot of the Sydney FMF venue, Royal Randwick Racecourse, it wasn't quite the free show we'd hoped for, as about all that we could hear of the performances through out the day were the (pounding) bass lines.
