No such thing as a free lunch, or a lunch break even

Personally I am not in favour of hour long lunch breaks, which when they do happen here, seem to happen at about 4pm by the way, unless there is a particularly good reason to down tools for such a long time.

I’ve worked in one or two places in the past where there has been a lunch thief in the ranks somewhere. One perpetrator was actually caught red-handed and tried offering the “but I thought whatever was in the staff fridge was free for all” line in their defence.
