V Festival Sydney red ink and photos

Despite occupying at least a quarter of Centennial Park (far more space than the recent Good Vibrations and Jack Johnson events), and having two stages, the V Festival, which took place in Sydney last Saturday still lost money, according to Virgin boss, Richard Branson. Good Vibrations 2008 Update

The hoped for tickets for Good Vibrations didn't pan out in the end, but we still wondered over to the Good Vibes site yesterday afternoon in Centennial Park anyway. A few people have posted photos of the event here and here, plus the Sydney Morning Herald. There was also a very visible police presence at the festival...
