And you can tell everybody this is your song

Posted by John Lampard on Monday, 3 November, 2008 to the comment subset

300 love letters... a rather public declaration of love, don't you think? So I'm telling this boy, one of the boys that lots of these love letters are to, about this project. "I'm writing three hundred love letters and sending them to strangers. The letters are going to be glued to the outside of the envelopes, so that the mailman, and presumably whoever the recipient lives with, will be ... Read full entry

Buy your crush a hot coffee and get lucky

Posted by John Lampard on Tuesday, 28 October, 2008 to the coffee subset

Ah ha, there is a definite logic in going out on coffee dates after all... People who held a cup of hot coffee for 10 to 25 seconds warmed up to a perfect stranger. Posted by John Lampard on Monday, 28 July, 2008 to the comment subset

Put single (or, yes, even attached) people together in just about any regular setting, such as a workplace, and romance will bloom. There's nothing new, or "these days", about it. After ... Romantic love will bind us together again

Posted by John Lampard on Wednesday, 9 July, 2008 to the comment subset

Romantic love, which has made no "scientific sense" to date, has been found to serve an evolutionary function... to, in case you haven't guessed, stop us playing around. It seems to work... most of the time anyway. "Psychologists have long had a problem explaining the functions of romantic love: a very strong emotion that sometimes seems to take over our lives and lead to what appear to be irrational ...
