One suggestion is to hide stylesheets from IE6, which would result in a “bare bones” non styled, though mostly functional version of a website being served to IE6 users.
Remember how we used to do something similar to Netscape 4 back in the day?
Some great discussions accompanies Dan’s post.
What are we going to do about Internet Explorer 6?

Ems are dead, long live pixel font sizes

An interesting read over at Ordered List proclaiming that the use pixel font sizes are now off the no-no list in stylesheets.
The other day as I started a new project, it hit me. Safari is now on ‘roids. Firefox 3 is not too far behind. And Internet Explorer 7, well IE7 now does the [...]

Could this be the answer to the prayers of web developers fed up with trying to accommodate IE 6’s CSS rendering quirks and bugs? A way to hide your stylesheet from Internet Explorer 6.

Signed and sealed with a design signature

Beatup

Australia’s favourite newspaper (ok, I’m biased, I’ve written for them once or twice ;), the Sydney Morning Herald has just unveiled a brand new design!
Personally I like it, though not everyone shares my opinion!
One or two people feel the stylesheet they’ve used isn’t particularly, shall we say, original. I don’t know, 100 per cent original [...]
