Apparently "global warming" is on hold for the next two years, according to an article in today's paper. Powerful computer simulations used to create the first global warming forecast suggests temperature rises will stall in the next two years, before rising sharply at the end of the decade. That is officially the temperature (celsius) in this part of Sydney at the moment. I suspect, having just been outside, that it is a bit warmer than that. Today's high is expected to be about 21°C, with sunshine and blue sky. Not bad for what is the middle of winter, and also considering conditions felt Antarctic here just a week ago. Apparently the temperature in Sydney was 11° Celsius today. The June average is more like 17° Celsius. For what it's worth it felt closer to 17° than 11° however.
