The Cracker Comedy Festival kicks off on 16 April and features a load of local and international acts including Jason Alexander (George from Seinfeld), Ross Noble, Charles Ross and his One Man Star Wars Trilogy, and The Chaser team. A notable omission, at least as far as I am concerned, is any appearance by Wil Anderson, former Triple J breakfast co-host, (and part ... Read full entry

The Hottest 101
Posted by John Lampard on Monday, 4 February, 2008 to the music subset

Kate Nash's song "Foundations" was awarded perhaps one of the countdown's more notorious gongs, being ranked at number 101 in Triple J's annual poll of their listeners' favourite , er, 100 songs for 2007. The key-tar breathes new life into the old Pink Floyd classic, Another Brick In The Wall Part 3, thanks to a noisy 'n dirty (guitar) riff. You can still ... Read full entry

On the radio 2 November 2007

I set up a music subset and barely use it. Yet I sit here listening to music most the day... Mix Up, the Triple J Saturday night dance music show last week featured Bookashade, Rene Amesz, and Vince Watson. Stream (does anyone actually listen to a radio anymore?!) the three hour set right now (WM, or Real). Now every night ... Read full entry
