After reading this I feel as if I've been linking the wrong way all these years. :) How do we select the particular words that are linked within a sentence or paragraph, and does it matter for the user?

Japan: Where URL's Are Totally Out Japanese advertisers use recommended search terms, rather than URLs, to promote websites, something Cabel Sasser noticed while in Japan recently. Within minutes of riding on the first trains in Japan, I notice a significant change in advertising, from train to television. The trend? No more printed URL's. The replacement? Search boxes! With recommended search terms!

WWW or NO-WWW?

WWW or NO-WWW? Actually I like the www prefix to web addresses, and officially disassociated's URL is www.disassociated.com (or www.disassociated.com.au for old skoolers) but you'll still arrive here without it. Pronouncing or verbalising, the prefix is another matter however, and is raised in a post at the SitePoints blogs regarding the relevance, and fashionability, of the www prefix.
