Renaissance age master-of-all-trades Leonardo da Vinci at one point appeared intent on pursuing a career well outside of the arts, if a letter he wrote to Ludovico il Moro, the Duke of Milan in 1482, while seeking employment, is anything to go by:

Roger Moore the elder statesman James Bond

Roger Moore, in addition to being the oldest person so far to portray British secret agent James Bond, was in my humble opinion, the most dapper of the 007s.
And unlike other the actors who have played Bond, Moore took a somewhat lighthearted approach to the role:
