Webstock 2009 was launched yesterday afternoon at Wellington's Paramount Theatre. Featuring workshops and a two day conference, Webstock runs from Monday 16th until Friday 20th February 2009. Maybe the real scoop being Webstock is now an annual event, not biennial? We're working on the format for Webstock right now, but it's likely to be similar to this year - workshops and a two day main conference. Our aim is to raise the bar yet again in terms of quality and presentation and we've got a lot of ideas on how we can make this happen.

CodeBlacks vs Silicon Welly A late sort of mention (an announcement popped up on my Twitter feed last night), but the all conquering CodeBlacks are looking for another win, this time at a halfbaked.com challenge, as they go up against Silicon Welly in an effort to produce the best start up business plan in about 30 minutes. Part of Webstock Mini being held in Wellington today.

Even though I didn't make it to this year's Webstock conference, I still ended up with a Webstock computer bag! Now I just need a decent computer to place in it ;) Thanks to Ben and the Webstock crew for sending this out :)
