Webstock 09 is a go, you heard it here first (almost)
Posted by John Lampard on Friday, 13 June, 2008 to the events subset
Maybe the real scoop being Webstock is now an annual event, not biennial? We're working on the format for Webstock right now, but it's likely to be similar to this year - workshops and a two day main conference. Our aim is to raise the bar yet again in terms of quality and presentation and we've got a lot of ideas on how we can make this happen.

I'm about to go and get something to eat so this is the last time you'll be hearing from me today (well maybe, I am a content producer after all), but I've just spotted the newly unveiled Webstock website! Webstock is a biennial web conference held in Wellington, New Zealand, and the next event is set down for 11 to 15 ... Read full entry

Makara Beach, near Wellington (the capital of New Zealand) is no idyllic holiday resort type of beach. Instead of pure golden sand, the beach is lined with pebbles, rocks, tree branches, and masses of seaweed. Sure you can sunbath here, just not in the cocktail comfort of a South Pacific island tourist attraction.Makara’s ruggedness is very much its charm ... Read full entry
