I didn’t realise that HAL, the supercomputer from 2001: A Space Odyssey could be regarded as a robot, but apparently that is the case, and accordingly he is a member of the The Robot Hall of Fame.
There he joins other illustrious bots n ‘droids including R2D2. This hall of renown is not restricted to fictional robots either, as the Mars Sojourner Rover is also honoured with a place.
